Job Title:            Student Office Assistant- Financial Aid

Location:           Financial Aid Office, Wilson Administration Building

Description:      Perform light administrative duties- answering phone, scheduling appointments, mailing  out  information packages, filing, and other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:          The right candidate will be detailed oriented , have excellent communication skills, work well with others and be proficient in MS Office and Windows OS. 

Hours are available in the morning and afternoon.

 

Job Title:             Admissions Assistant

Location:            Admissions Office

Description:       The Admissions Assistant provides support to the Office of Admissions.  The Admissions Assistant must project a professional image both in person and telephone interaction as well as attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.  Must maintain knowledge of Lon Morris policies and Admissions/Financial Aid policies and procedures.

1.       Welcome students and parents that enter the Admissions Building

2.       Answer all phone calls for the Admissions Office

3.       Data entry

          a.       Enter all prospective student information in Jenzabar

          b.       Enter applications in Jenzabar

          c.       Enter all required documents for applicants in Jenzabar

          d.       Enter all incoming paperwork on prospective students

4.       Track all required documents for applicants in student files

5.       Call potential students / parents

           a.       Confirm status of student

           b.       Confirm missing documents

           c.       Confirm visits, etc.

6.       Make copies

          a.       Copies of college transcripts for student's file

          b.       Copies of application fees for Business Office

7.       Maintain filing system

Job Skills:          Experience in an office or assistant position is preferred. Must be knowledgeable in  Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 

 

Job Title:               Student Library Clerk

Description:         Customer service, checking books in and out, money handling, book shelving and shelf reading, janitorial duties (Dusting & cleaning tables, chairs, & computers, and straightening shelves), and other duties as assigned

Job Skills:              Detailed oriented and reliable, have excellent communication skills, work well with others and have basic computer and math skills. 

Set schedule 7 to 8 hours per week, requires one evening shift (6 to 11 pm) on a week night; other hours are morning or afternoon.
